MOSCOW, Jul 28 (PRIME) -- Russia’s foreign trade surplus declined 50.6% on the year to U.S. $44.1 billion in January–June, the Economic Development Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
Exports fell 29.7% on the year to $127.7 billion in the period and imports decreased 9.5% to $83.6 billion.
Russia’s foreign trade turnover calculated under a balance of payments methodology fell 22.9% on the year to $211.3 billion.
